Alpaca Training
We can halter train your alpacas and make them show ready. This doesn't mean just halter trained but also handler friendly. Just because they lead does not mean that they are ready for a show. The animal should also stand calmly for inspection. Using a combination of methods (mainly Marty McGee) to suit your alpaca's personality your alpaca can be a joy to work with.
With over 12 years of experience training animals, I know each animal has it's own personality and one training techinques doesn't fit every animal. All it takes is a little time and patience to find the correct method to fit your alpaca.
There is no such thing as a dumb animal. All animals can be trained. I want your alpaca to be a joy to work with so you and your alpaca are happy.
Boarding & Agistment
Located in the far northeast corner of CO, away from air pollution and the fast pace of city life, we will give your alpacas special attention. We have lots of room for alpacas to enjoy the pasture during the day and a cozy barn at night. During the dog days of summer wading pools (with special hosing down of the legs) and port-a-cools are used. Every alpaca gets nail and teeth trimming, feed, water, hay, pasture and routine worming and vaccination shots. In addition, we will work with your alpacas daily. Never worry again about a misbehaved alpaca. Vet bills are the owner's responsibility.
How many times have you heard others say that they wish they had more time to work with their alpacas? Tired of boarding your alpacas only to have one that is not accustomed to having people around. You walk up to them and they run for their life. We won't let that happen. Your alpacas will be treated just like our own.
