Papaya

Papaya

Papaya is one of those girls that spinners love. It's not until you feel her fleece can a person really appreicate her. She has a very long staple (100.8mm second shearing)(4.5 out 5 pts for staple at the NJAC spin off) making her fleece at the top of the list for hand spinners. Her crimp style makes her fleece very easy to spin and gives a person a consistent yarn. Her yarn is the first to sell.

Her fleece is a pretty consistent med. fawn that almost looks copper. The black linig her eyes and tip of her nose makes you take a second look at this girl! She is a big girl and would be able to handle your larger males. She is currently bred to our Wild Heart. He is known for his staple, dense, and consistent crimp in his fleece. The combination of these two should be a cria that has long, consistent crimp and full coverage fleece.

Papaya is full of energy and has a gentle nature about her. She is protective of "her herd" and watches out for her friends around her. Don't be surprised to find her in the middle of helping you do nail trimming, feeding, or just hauling hay.

Her mother "Cynammon" is a no hassle female. She has sufficient milk and has no problems delivering her cria. Papaya shows these same qualities.

Her sire is "The Patriot" known for his long staple length and dense fleece. He is out of Show Me the Money who is 1/2 brother to Dom Lucillio and the grandson of PPPeruvian Royal Fawn.
